Lifestyle Clinic
Central Health is sponsoring a Lifestyle clinic the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at the Public Health Nursing office located at the medical clinic in Victoria Cove. This clinic will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Drop in for a blood pressure check, blood sugar check or to discuss issues such as exercise, healthy eating, stress management and sexuality. Checkpoints
Effective immediately and until March 31, 2010, the RCMP Detachments from Carmanville, Fogo, Lewisporte and Twillingate will continue to conduct checkpoints in their detachment areas as well as joint checkpoints. If you want to report an impaired driver call your nearest RCMP Detachment or call 1-800-709-RCMP. If possible provide the plate number and description of the vehicle and the identity of the driver.
