Found

Found in Lewisporte a boys black 24-inch bike. If you own a bike that is missing contact the RCMP at 535-8637 to see if this is your bike. A full description of the bike or pictures will be required in order for the bike to be returned.

 

Lost

Lost on Aug. 14 at Woolfrey’s Pond a kayak spray skirt. It is black neoprene in colour. The words Snap Dragon are written on it. If found please contact Dirk at 535-0517.

Checkpoints

Effective immediately and until Sept. 30, 2010, the RCMP Detachments from Carmanville, Fogo, Lewisporte and Twillingate will continue to conduct checkpoints in their detachment areas as well as joint checkpoints. If you want to report an impaired driver call your nearest RCMP Detachment or call 1-800-709-RCMP. If possible provide the plate number and description of the vehicle and the identity of the driver.
