Soiree/Come Home Year Volunteers

Anyone interested in volunteering an hour, afternoon, day or whatever they can commit to is encouraged to contact Gary Jacobs at the Lewisporte Town Hall at 535-2737.

                 

Lewisporte Public Library

The Lewisporte Public Library will be offering a summer reading program for ages 2 - 13. This program will be held every Thursday evening from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. There will be stories, crafts, games, prizes and more. This year’s theme is Imagine! Come join the fun!

 

Music on the Boardwalk

Location:  Woofrey Park Chalet Verandah (or inside if the weather is

inclement). Time: 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. Schedule: July 17 - Sara Dorey/Stephen Brace, July 24 - Terry Penney, July 31 - BAC Boys, Aug 7 - Mussel Bed Soiree, Aug 14 - Dan Bursey, Aug 21 - Lorne, Dante and friends. The August schedule for grocery trips are Aug. 3 and 30. Medical appointments - NWI Community Health Centre dates are Aug. 14 and 28. Medical appointments – NDBMHC is Aug. 21. Church services are Aug. 12 and 26. Leisure drives are Moreton’s Harbour Museum on Aug. 9, Summerford Library on Aug. 16 and Twillingate Museum on Aug. 23. Please contact Doreen Roberts at 884-4244 to reserve your seat for one of these scheduled trips or for further information. Other trips can be arranged upon request!
