Nov. 3 - The Campbellton Faith United Church Women will be holding their Annual Fall Sale and Afternoon Tea at the Campbellton Community Centre. Doors open at 2 p.m. Homemade baked goods, preserves, craft and knitted items, and a good cup of tea and friendly faces will be available!

Flu and Pneumococcal Clinics
Central Health wishes to advise that public health nurses are offering flu and pneumococcal immunization clinics starting in November. These clinics are for persons eligible under the provincial guidelines: adults and children with chronic conditions requiring regular medical follow-up or hospital care, including respiratory disorders such as asthma or cystic fibrosis; cardiac disease; renal disease; metabolic disorders such as diabetes; mobility impairment such as may occur with arthritis or obesity; immunosuppression including that associated with medical treatments; residents of nursing homes and other chronic care facilities; persons age 60 years and over; children age six months to 59 months; healthy pregnant women, particularly those in the third trimester; Aboriginal people; healthcare workers in facilities and community settings; household contacts of immunocompromised and other persons at high risk of influenza complications; essential service workers such as police, ambulance, firefighters, or other persons in the community whose services may be considered essential; individuals who work in the live poultry or swine industry. Pneumococcal vaccine is also available for people over 65 and those of all ages with a chronic disease.
