Feb. 17 – There will be a singspiration at the Maranatha Pentecostal Church at 6:30 p.m. to raise funds for Debbie Hillier who house was damaged in the windstorm on Feb. 5.

Lighten Up Weight Group is held at the Lewisporte Stadium (upstairs) every Thursday night from 5:45-6:30. It's free and all are welcome! In partnership with Lewisporte Central Health and the Town of Lewisporte.

Effective immediately and until Feb. 28 the RCMP detachments from Carmanville, Fogo, Lewisporte and Twillingate will continue to conduct checkpoints in their detachment areas as well as joint checkpoints. If you want to report an impaired driver call your nearest RCMP Detachment or call 1-800-709-RCMP. If possible provide the plate number and description of the vehicle and the identity of the driver.

New Programs – Early Intervention and Interactive Music Therapy
The Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, South and Central Chapter are excited to offer new recreational therapy programs this winter! We are offering: Early Intervention Music Groups for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder ages 2-5. Interactive Music Groups for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder ages 5-Adult. We are also offering one to one sessions if individuals are interested.
