From Sept. 5-25 the Fogo Island Arts Corporation is hosting the National Arts Centre’s (NAC) unique English Theatre research and development project The Ark — Ibsen on Fogo Island — part master class, part think tank, The Ark is examining the work of Norweigan port and playright Henrik Ibsen. The Ark…on fire is a separate initiative of the Arts Corporation which is taking the opportunity to radically add value to the NAC project be directly involving the people and places of Fogo Island and Change Islands. From Sept. 5-25 the Fogo Island Arts Corporation is hosting the National Arts Centre’s (NAC) unique English Theatre research and development project The Ark — Ibsen on Fogo Island — part master class, part think tank, The Ark is examining the work of Norweigan port and playright Henrik Ibsen.
