Additional ferry crossing

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that effective today (Wednesday, April 11), an extra evening crossing will be added to the current schedule of ferry runs between Farewell, Fogo Island, and Change Islands as a temporary measure until the MV Captain Earl Winsor returns to service.

The additional crossing will involve a departure from Fogo Island at 7:30 p.m. to go to Farewell, and then a departure from Farewell at 8:30 p.m. to go to Fogo Island and also Change Islands if traffic at Farewell requires.
