The Pilot is sponsoring the amateur photo contest being held as part of the 2012 Lewisporte Winter Carnival.

The Pilot is sponsoring the amateur photo contest being held as part of the 2012 Lewisporte Winter Carnival. Amateur photographers are welcome to submit their general winter scene or fun carnival moment photos to The Pilot office (for prints or photos on CD) at 151 Main Street in Lewisporte or e-mail editor@pilotnl.ca for a chance to win one of two $25 cash prizes. The Pilot will not be able to download photos directly from digital cameras. There are two categories: adult and youth (16 and under). Photos must be submitted by Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012. Please send photos in as large a file size as possible when e-mailing. The Pilot and the Town of Lewisporte reserve the right to use all submitted photos for future promotions and events. Selected entries will be published in The Pilot print edition and online at www.lportepilot.ca. Please include your name, category being entered and contact information with your submission. Only your name and category entered will be printed.
