Alex Burton: In Thailand, does the water in the toilet go the opposite direction when flushed?

I have heard of this but I believe it is for the southern hemisphere. We are about 9 degrees North.

Alex Troke: What kinds of music do people in Phuket listen to?

Just like everywhere the people here are influenced by videos, TV of all the major North American and European superstars. There is also a K-Pop following from younger teens, which is Korean pop music. Sometimes in markets or stores I hear oriental music which I can only surmise is Thai folk music. The radio in my car didn’t work so I didn’t get the opportunity to listen to much music other than the local MTV on the tellie.
