TWILLINGATE/NEW WORLD ISLAND -
Jennifer Randell has joined The Pilot as the new Islands correspondent for Twillingate and New World Island, with the retirement of long-time correspondent Howard Butt at the end of March.
Jennifer grew up in Lewisporte and has been living in Too Good Arm for the last six years. She is looking forward to the opportunity of covering the events of the Twillingate and New World Island communities.
"I've always had an interest in reading and writing, so this is a good opportunity to incorporate that and to try something different," she said. "I am excited about meeting people and learning more about them and their communities.
"I encourage anyone who has a story idea or event they would like covered to contact me. I look forward to sharing your stories with Pilot readers."
A reminder as well that while Jennifer lives between Twillingate and New World Island, there is a commute time that will be involved for her to cover events or for interviews/photos, so as much advance notice that can be provided to her is appreciated.
