Big boots to fill

Members of the Lewisporte Sparks had a chance to visit the Lewisporte fire hall and learn about fire prevention and safety from Fire Prevention officer Carl Greening. As part of the presentation Mr. Greening showed the Sparks the equipment firefighters use when called to respond to a fire or emergency. Spark Reagan Holmes was curious as to how heavy the protective boots are. Look inside The Pilot for more photos from the visit to the fire hall.
