Premier Danny Williams, along with Minister of Health and Community Services Jerome Kennedy (not pictured) participated in the official sod-turning ceremony at the site of the new Lewisporte Health Centre on May 28. Once constructed the centre will include long-term care beds and a dementia bungalow. Construction of the facility is expected to begin in August. Look to the June 9 issue of The Pilot for more coverage from the event.
