The Department of Transportation and Works advises that the schedule for the M/V Sir Robert Bond which operates between Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Cartwright and Lewisporte has been revised.

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that the schedule for the M/V Sir Robert Bond which operates between Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Cartwright and Lewisporte has been revised.

 

The scheduled direct round trip between Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Cartwright, which departs Happy Valley-Goose Bay for Cartwright at 5:00 p.m. on Sundays and departs Cartwright for Happy Valley-Goose Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Mondays, has been discontinued due to a lack of demand on these sailings.

 

The M/V Sir Robert Bond will continue to service Lewisporte, Cartwright and Happy Valley –Goose Bay on a revised schedule, departing Lewisporte on Fridays at 2:00 p.m. for Cartwright and Happy Valley-Goose Bay and departing Happy Valley-Goose Bay for Cartwright and Lewisporte at 5:00 p.m. on Sundays.

 

The revised schedule is posted on the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador website and will come into effect on Friday, July 30.

 

Passengers with reservations onboard the M/V Sir Robert Bond should contact Labrador Marine Inc. at 1-866-535-2567 from within the province or 709-535-0810 from outside Newfoundland and Labrador to confirm their reservation time.
