Sally Hynes of Little Burnt Bay has the photo proof to back up her fish story. She caught this cod that was estimated to weigh over 40 pounds on the opening morning of the food fishery on July 24. It took 20 minutes for her to reel in this whopper that she returned to the ocean after the photo opportunity. Pictured with Ms. Hynes is her husband Esau. The Pilot welcomes everyone to send along their favourite photos from the 2010 food fishery to share with other readers in future issues of the newspaper.
