The RCMP is investigating suspected arson to the Woolfrey’s Pond boardwalk in Lewisporte.

On Saturday RCMP responded to a section of the trail in an area known as the sawdust pit, where they found nearly a 100-feet section of wooden boardwalk destroyed by fire.

The RCMP is continuing to investigate.

The RCMP is asking anyone with information to call the Lewisporte RCMP at 535-8637 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
