Drug seizure in Stanhope

The RCMP seized a quantity of marihuana, cocaine, and currency following the search of a residence in Stanhope on Friday night (Oct. 12).

The RCMP seized a quantity of marihuana, cocaine, and currency following the search of a residence in Stanhope on Friday night (Oct. 12). A 46-year-old male was arrested at the time of the search, however, further charges against other persons are anticipated as the investigation continues.

The RCMP are reminding the public that Crime Stoppers is an excellent avenue to provide anonymous information such as drug trafficking to the police.

The Pilot is following up on this matter and will report on it as details become available.
