The earliest day motorists will be able to use studded tires is Nov. 1, said Service NL in a press release issued Oct. 25.

Service NL would also like to remind motorists to check brakes, wipers, lights, fluid levels, and tires to make sure vehicles are in good working order in preparation for the winter months.
