I had a really great opportunity last week, the opportunity to take in a very powerful presentation about bullying, alcohol and drug abuse, things that influence teens from major cities as well as smaller communities.
The group from Absolute was at Riverwood Academy last Wednesday where they put off a one hour program for the students in Grades 6-12 dealing with the every day pressures that teens find themselves faced with.
In addition to members speaking about life experiences they have had, there was a rock band Hundredfold that performed three songs for the students. Two of the group's members also spoke to the group about their experiences with alcohol and drugs.
