When people donate toward a certain cause, oftentimes before the day is over, the money and cause are all but forgotten.

It's great when an opportunity to really see where your support is going. That's what made the Sunday morning service at Philadelphia Pentecostal Tabernacle on April 6 so special. Present at the service were missionaries Clarence (Junior) and Ivy Andrews who are back home for a while from their missionary in Malawi, more specifically in the Village of Hope where Lewisporte House - a project of Philadelphia Pentecostal Tabernacle - is located. The Scoop with Coop - When people donate toward a certain cause, oftentimes before the day is over, the money and cause are all but forgotten.

Not only did the Andrews' tell the congregation about the changes their support has made in the lives of seven children, they showed them.

They brought with them photographs of the houses and some of the residents of the Village of Hope. They also played a video of a walk through of Lewisporte House and an interview with the House Mother. There were also clips of the children who live in Lewisporte House singing.

It really was a good feeling for members of the congregation and the community in general who have supported the Lewisporte House project to have an opportunity to listen to someone who knows first hand what is involved in the operations of the Village of Hope and Lewisporte House.

It must have been an exceptionally good feeling for those who went on the mission to Malawi through the church to help in the building of Lewisporte House. These people had an opportunity to see the work that has been done since they were in Malawi themselves and they had an opportunity to see these children benefiting from the fruits of their labour.

What a true sense of satisfaction that must have been for them. After all, children are a gift from God and through their support of Lewisporte House the congregation of Philadelphia Pentecostal Tabernacle are providing a home and family for 10 of these children who otherwise might not have survived. What greater gift can you give?
