Compiling information on rabies case

Dear Editor, I am writing a history of rabies in this province and I am trying to get details on a case that reportedly happened in Lewisporte in November 1955.

I am writing a history of rabies in this province and I am trying to get details on a case that reportedly happened in Lewisporte in November 1955.

It involved a dog getting off a boat from either Labrador or Portugal. This dog was in contact with at least one local dog, possibly more.

If anyone has information on this story please email me or otherwise get in contact.
