On Feb. 25 the Notre Dame Skating Club held an Olympic Celebration event. On behalf of the Notre Dame Skating Club, our skaters would like to congratulate members of our Skate Canada family. A huge congratulations to Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue, who are personal friends of the Briscoe's as well, on their gold medal in Dance. And another huge congratulations to Joannie Rochette on her bronze medal in the Ladies event. We would also like to express our sincere condolences to the Rochette family and acknowledge the courage and focus that Joannie endured to compete at these games.
