Lewisporte is in the running for one of 20 projects that will be funded through the Molson Coors Community Cheer program. A $76,000 application has been submitted by the Kinsmen and Lions in collaberation with the 2012 Come Home Year Committee for a track to run around the current soccer pitch. Your help is needed to "cheer" on the project by adding your vote in support of the project and bring it to the next level of judging.

When a project receives a minimum of 225 “cheers” (selected as a number that demonstrates good support and the 225th anniversary of brewing in Canda) it then becomes eligible and well be evaluated by the Molson Coors Community Relations team. Voting at www.ourcommunitycheer.com will take place until Feb. 10. '
