The sixth annual Christmas Food Bank and Toy Drive will be held on Saturday, Nov. 25 between 11-4 p.m. at the Lewisporte Mall parking lot.

You can help fill the ambulance with non-perishable food items and children’s toys. Donations are also greatly appreciated.

The eighth annual RCMP Children’s Wish tree lighting is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Nov. 29.

The event will get underway at the Lewisporte RCMP Detachment at 7 p.m.

Any donation, large or small, will go towards turning a light to white and bringing happiness to a child with a life threatening illness.

Funds raised go directly to the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada.

Donations should be made payable to the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada and can be dropped off or mailed directly to: RCMP Detachment, P.O. Box 310, 217 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL, A0G 3A0.
