Amputee veterans started The War Amps nearly 100 years ago, and later created CHAMP to share their knowledge and assistance with us. Operation Legacy allows us to honour them and carry their legacy into the future.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. This Remembrance Day, it is important for Canadians to reflect on the significance of this anniversary and the sacrifices veterans made so we could live in a free country.
We should all wear a poppy to show our appreciation for our war veterans, and pray for peace.
