Nineteen-month-old Blake Rideout enjoyed making a Christmas craft with her mother Samantha Rideout as part of the “Night at the North Pole” organized by the Twillingate Recreation Committee on Dec. 13. Nearly 80 children signed up to take part in the fun evening that also included treats such as milk and cookies, story time with Mrs. Claus and a visit from Santa.

Mrs. Claus joined in on the festivities of “Night at the North Pole” by reading “Twas The Night Before Christmas” to all those gathered at the Crow Head Community Centre.
Jade Greenham is looking forward to Christmas.
Members of the 1st Twillingate and New World Island Girl Guides volunteered for elf duty at “Night at the North Pole”. They were a great help to the Twillingate Recreation Committee as they served up treats and helped children with their craft projects. Santa and Mrs. Claus were very appreciative of their efforts and wanted to get a picture with them to say thanks.
