These groups include:

1) Individuals under 65 with chronic health conditions.

2) Individuals living in remote and isolated settings or communities.

3) Children six months up to five years of age.

4) Health care workers involved in pandemic response or the delivery of essential care services;

5) Pregnant women.

6) Household contacts and caregivers of persons at high risk who cannot be immunized or may not respond to vaccines and populations otherwise identified as high risk (e.g. chemotherapy clients; parents of children with egg allergies six months to five years; parents of children six months.)

The date and time for the most current clinics are:

Friday, Oct. 30 (1:30-7 p.m. at the Pentecostal Church in Lewisporte)

Saturday, Oct. 31 (9:30a.m.-6:30 p.m. at the Pentecostal Church in Lewisporte)

Central Health also has a toll-free Pandemic Information Line: 1-877-311-2613 to provide information in the mass immunization schedule; priority groups for the H1N1 vaccine; limited visitation restrictions; and what you should do if you think you have H1N1. There will be automated messages however clients will be able to speak to an information officer as well.
