The washout at Victor’s Brook in West Bay prevented traffic from going through to Lourdes.

In a media release issued Monday morning, the company said tandem trucks from Mike Kelly and Sons, the main contractors for this project, will be doing the work.

A flag person will be posted at the entrance to the Atlantic Minerals quarry to control heavy equipment operating in that immediate area and to ensure the safety of the motoring public.

The company said it appreciates the public’s cooperation and patience associated with any traffic delays.

The washout happened at Victor’s Brook in West Bay last week.
