The survey is the first part of a community health needs and resources assessment the health authority started Jan. 1.
It asks questions about community services, including children and youth programs and seniors programs, and health-related community services — emergency departments, mental health and addictions services. It will be available on the website until Feb. 29.
The assessment will also include focus groups, health-status statistics and community resource listings.
The results of the assessment will be used to identify health-related issues and resources in the region and help Western Health plan its programs and services.
The results will be available to the public on the website. Results of a 2013 assessment can also be accessed there.
